Vintage Japanese Ceramic Vase Objects

The eternal hunt for objects that honor the handmade, a thing that has a purpose only you can designate for it. To have many meanings and ways of being. Here are two ceramic pieces that are pleasing as a pair but they can live alone too. One is a glaze test piece. The other is not a vase but appears like one. It can hold a small dried stem, a paintbrush, a ribbon, a fluff of wool. No bottom closure on each.
