Come learn ancient techniques for transforming raw wool into modern textiles. Felt’s primitive and organic process lends itself to endless possibilities and its tactile appeal and versatility make it the perfect home textile. Felt artist Ashley Helvey will demonstrate three different wet-felting techniques ranging from 2D to 3D.

Yelena Zhelezov, a performance and video artist based in Los Angeles, will be performing hairy tales, weaving a tangle of historical hair reenactments realized through a mixture of puppetry, projection and… hair.
